We are Sharon & Paul and some 2 years ago we purchased a VW T5 camper van.

That was then ….

I (Paul), had many years ago, spent a few months travelling around Europe in an old Bedford CA van with a group of mates and had always dreamed of repeating this experience.

Over a period of some 25 years I had made this suggestion to Sharon and was surprised after the umpteenth time of asking Sharon agreed!

……. and this is now.

So some 2 years ago we purchased our VW T5 camper van and from the outset we had dreamt of  spending an extended time away traveling. With this in mind we set about making this a reality and when earlier this year Sharon became a happy casualty of a reorganisation at work there was nothing stopping us. So I bravely (or foolishly, depending on your point of view) decided to take a career break and handed in my notice.

So here we are in the summer of 2012, excited but slightly nervous, about to embark on our adventure which we will record here ….
